How stunning are these? Made from the mechanisms of vintage Buren watches.

And they make a perfect gift for a WW2 buff.

Buren was one of the 12 Swiss watch markers commissioned by the British War Department in WW2 to make watches for the troops. They were known as the dirty dozen.

The Buren watch company orginated in 1898 in the swiss town of Buren An Der Aare by the London company of H Williamson Ltd. From 1916 Henry Williamson used the signature " Buren watch Co".

In 1966 Buren were sold to the Hamilton watch company. Then in 1972 the brand came to an end and all assets were sold.
