This stunning pendant is made from a rare Eterna watch movement.  Its shape and size are so different from the usual watch movements you find.
The Eterna watch brand was founded in 1856 by Joseph Girard and Urs Schild.  
Eterna was one of the 'Dirty Dozen', 12 Swiss watchmakers contracted by the British War Department to make watches in World War 2.
In later years, Eterna produced watches that were marketed under the Porche Design label.
